The student council team for 2022-23 is made up of Ciara, Robert, Ewan, Kane, Elise, Trey, Stanley, Lucas, Carson and Marceline.
Together we meet regularly with Mr Collins and Mr Oatley to discuss various issues that impact the lives of everyone here at Melksham Oak. All tutor groups have a student representative who is a voice for their peers and then pass on questions, suggestions and comments for us to talk about in more depth.
Every two weeks we have discussions and input around one of the following themes;
Environment
Inclusion and equality
Enrichment
Bullying
Behaviour
Teaching and lessons
Well-being
We have termly meetings with senior staff, who find time for us and listen so we can pass on our suggestions.
