Our students follow a broad three-year Key Stage 3 curriculum. In the Spring term of Year 9 students will select their GCSE options ready to start in Year 10.
Students are taught in mixed ability groups in all subjects except Maths and English, where they are streamed based on their prior attainment and in-house assessments including GL assessments, NGRT and CAT4.
For each subject a summary of what the students will learn is included in the front of their exercise books so that students are aware of their learning journey. Content that the students are assessed on at key points in each school year is available on our Assessment Information page.
