What matters most in Creative Media?

If you have an interest in the media industry and prefer a vocational or “hands on” approach to the subject, this may be a good choice of course for you. Creative Media is about understanding WHAT different media products there are and how this is changing due to audiences and technology.  WHY these products are changing and adapting. HOW we create media products and how this is developing. WHO media products are created for and how knowing your target audience is essential to their success.

Practically we will focus on idea creation and how different genres affect how we create media. What Pre-production planning is and why it is important in developing a media product from a creative, practical and financial perspective. How and why we film and record our media products based on where they are viewed or consumed. What is Post Production and why is it important in telling your story.
