Year 11 Students Receive Results

Melksham Oak year 11 students received their GCSE results today, representing the culmination of many years of hard work and determination.

In amongst some outstanding results, we are pleased to be able to celebrate an increase in the number of our pupils who achieved grade 5 and above in both mathematics and English. These results enable our students to progress to a wide range of educational pathways, including joining our fantastic sixth form and moving on to college courses and employment-based training.

Today is about celebrating the results of each individual student, and we are particularly proud of the following students who achieved grade 9’s:

  • Chris Chiad
  • Oliwia Dybciak
  • Daisy Finch
  • Lottie Foster
  • Daisy Hale
  • Nicola Lynch
  • Ewan Lanegan
  • Owen Lythell
  • Kalia Pearce
  • Erin Tarrant.

A special mention must go to Daisy Hale, who achieved an outstanding eight GCSEs at grade 9!

This year’s GCSE results reflect the immense hard work of our students, their parents, and their teachers. Given the challenges that the ever more rigorous GCSEs have brought, we are immensely proud of the results that have been achieved.

Our congratulations go out to all of our students. We look forward to welcoming many back to our sixth form, and we wish the very best of luck to those continuing their education elsewhere.
