POSSIBLE ROUTES AFTER YEAR 11
You can go onto further studies by undertaking A levels, usually this is four subject areas of your choice. Entry to most Sixth forms are at least 5 A*- C at GCSE (preferred in Maths, English and Science), but some subjects may be more specific.
You can go onto further studies by undertaking various Diplomas at college, this will vary from Agriculture, Engineering, Business, Science, Hairdressing and Travel and Tourism. These range from Entry Level to Level 1- 3
An Apprenticeship is a real job with training so you can earn while you learn and pick up recognised qualifications as you go. They take between one and four years to complete and cover 1,500 job roles in a wide range of industries, from things like engineering to financial advice, veterinary nursing to accountancy.
